The 250g long sleeve and leggings work as a full base layer under your shell: they regulate temperature as you move, breathe when you're working hard, and resist odour, so a multi-day trip doesn't mean multi-day smell. The 180g neck warmer is lighter, made to breathe during effort — pull it up against the wind, down when you're climbing.
